Lommevenn is a subscription tracking app that helps you manage and stay on top of your recurring expenses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — when you sign in via Google or Apple:

• Display name
• Email address (used to identify your account)
• Profile photo (if provided by your Google or Apple account)

Subscription data you enter — information you manually add to track your expenses:

• Subscription name, cost, and renewal date
• Any notes or categories you assign

Notification preferences — if you enable reminders, we store your notification settings to send renewal alerts.

We do not collect:

• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Camera or microphone access
• Advertising ID or any device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Payment information (we never process or store payment details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate and maintain your account session
• To store and sync your subscription data across devices
• To send push notifications reminding you of upcoming renewals (only if you enable this)
• To personalise your in-app experience (e.g. display your name)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage — Supabase

Your account and subscription data is stored securely using Supabase, a backend infrastructure provider. Data is stored on servers within the EU/EEA region. Supabase maintains industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

4. Authentication Providers

Sign-in is handled through Google and Apple's secure authentication services:

5. Push Notifications

Lommevenn can send you reminders before your subscriptions renew. This feature is entirely optional. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We use Expo's notification service to deliver these alerts.

6. Advertising

Lommevenn does not display advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA or GAID). No data is shared with ad networks.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (including Norway), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent and delete your account at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (subscription records, preferences, account info) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Lommevenn is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
